How Juliet® organic applesauce is made 

Juliet® organic apple compotes are made exclusively in France. Juliet® apples are organically grown and hand-picked to preserve all their qualities. 
It's very simple to make them: the selected apples are cold-pressed and heated in a bain-marie before being placed in the containers provided. The apples are cooked gently and quickly to preserve their flavour and nutrients. No sugar or preservatives are added. So you can enjoy them (almost) without moderation! 

Organic purées

Our Juliet® apples are organically grown. This means they are environmentally-friendly and consumer-friendly. To obtain the famous AB (Agriculture Biologique) label, rules are defined and supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture in particular. Every year, independent certifying bodies carry out checks to ensure that the practices are respected. 
In short, the beautiful Juliet® apples used to create our purees are 100% organic, French and delicious.
As for our puree, it's organic, with no added sugar and a great apple flavour. 

Juliet® organic applesauce with no added sugar

Juliet® organic applesauce has no added sugar, but what exactly does this mean? In a nutshell, it means that no sugar other than that naturally present in the apples has been added, either during preparation or storage. These compotes get all their sweetness from the apples themselves, which reveal an authentic, natural flavour, without the need for any additions.
Sugar comes in a variety of forms. These include sucrose, glucose and fructose, which are naturally present in certain foods, particularly fruit. There are also alternatives such as maple syrup, agave syrup and beet sugar, which are often used to sweeten industrial preparations. However, none of these ingredients are used in Juliet® compotes. It's all down to the quality of the organic apples, carefully grown and selected to deliver a flavour that's true to the fruit.
The ‘no added sugar’ label cannot be improvised. It is based on rigorous criteria defined by European regulation 1924/2006, which prohibits the addition of sugars, sweeteners or other sweetening ingredients to products bearing this label. However, some products without this guarantee may contain added ingredients such as fructose or glucose syrup. With Juliet® applesauce, you're guaranteed a pure, natural product, where every spoonful reveals the full richness of organic apples.
