• 4 Juliet® organic apples
• 4 sheets of filo pastry
• 20 g of strawberry jam
• 10 g of butter
• 30 ml of skimmed milk
• 100 ml of water
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
In four individual ramekins arrange the filo pastry sheets. Using scissors, cut off any excess pastry to fit ramekins.Brush the inside of the pastry sheets with the strawberry jam.
Wash the apples. Do not peel them. Core the apples and thinly slice them.
In a saucepan, melt the butter with the milk and water. Add the apple slices and brown them for about 10 minutes, stiring regularly.
The apple slices should become soft but not turn into applesauce.
Arrange apple slices on the filo pastry forming rosettes.
Bake about 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly, before delicately removing the rosettes from the ramekins.
