French organic apple cider vinegar
The Friends of Juliet® are working to offer you soon their new range of French organic apple cider vinegar.
Growers are lending all of their skills and knowledge to assure the utmost quality of the Juliet® apples. It is the only apple variety in the world that is 100% organic and grown exclusively in France.
Less famous than juice or apple cider, organic apple cider vinegar deserves to be just as well known.
Made from our apples, it then undergoes multiple fermentations. Unlike apple cider, which is only fermented once, apple cider vinegar undergoes a second fermentation.
Sugar that has been transformed into a cider alcohol during the first fermentation turns in acetic acid during the second fermentation. This final stage gives the organic cider vinegar all its characteristics: its tangy taste and its pungent odour.
Juliet® apple will soon be available to you in a this new version full of promise...
Making organic apple vinegar
Our organic cider vinegar is made from the beautiful Juliet® apple. Unlike cider, it endures several fermentations. Sugar is transformed into cider alcohol during its first fermentation. A second fermentation then turns it into acetic acid. This will enable the apple cider vinegar to benefit from all its characteristics, such as an acidic taste and a particularly tangy smell.
Organic apple cider vinegar
The apples used to make our cider vinegar are organically grown. Grown only in France, you'll only find them in organic produce. Growing apples exclusively organically means respecting the environment, complying with precise specifications, producing quality apples and avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals. Every year, several independent certifying bodies carry out checks to ensure that practices are respected.
You'll find the AB logo on Juliet® apple packaging and all its product ranges. Furthermore, they contain no GMOs, synthetic chemicals, preservatives or food additives.

Juliet®'s commitments
Juliet® has a number of commitments, both to its consumers and to the environment. Firstly, the Juliet® apple variety, used to make cider vinegar, is produced exclusively organically. All orchards are located in France. In short, our beautiful apple is 100% organic and 100% French. Secondly, the packaging used is recyclable and compostable. Finally, to ensure that our apples are always of the highest quality, they are hand-picked at optimum ripeness.
Uses
Apple cider vinegar is often used in cooking, particularly for vinaigrettes, sauces and soups. It's thanks to its flavor qualities that it can add originality to a dish. Actually, cider vinegar is both sweet and acid. It goes very well with salty dishes. In addition to its use in cooking, apple cider vinegar is recognized for its antibacterial properties, whether for cleaning or disinfecting. It is especially appreciated for hair and face care, as it eliminates excess bacteria. Apple vinegar can be used as a flea repellent for your pets (dog or cat). It's a truly 100% ecological cleaner !
Consumption
For best results, Juliet® apple cider vinegar should be stored in a cold, dark place. Cider vinegar won't necessarily expire, but its appearance and taste can deteriorate over time. It can be consumed within 12 to 18 months of the date of production.
